Planning for dying. Learning for living.
Dying Well Planning for Pairs
Dying time planning for parents and adult children, couples, or friends
Description
Get help talking about end of life decisions with your partner, parent or best friend. This offering is based on Dying Well Planning sessions, but it will be geared toward helping you both identify together what living well means for you. You will need to imagine that you have only three months left to live, which I recognize is a challenging position to take. However, those who take on this perspective have a far deeper experience of this planning process. After an initial orientation at our first meeting, we'll focus in on five areas of your life: relationships, spirituality (or ethos), physical condition, after death care, and legacy plans. What areas in your life need the most attention now? What tasks, such as writing a last will or healing relationships, do you need to attend to? Through the five sessions of this imaginative exercise, you will arrive at what matters most and find yourself realizing, hopefully, far ahead of your death, that abundant living is the only way to walk through the gift that is life. The seventh session provides you with an action plan that clearly states timely and actionable goals to achieve your vision what you believe it means to live well.
